Pricing questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan needs no card, and it isn't a trial that expires — you can log unlimited care events and keep your full schedule on it indefinitely.
What happens if I hit a limit?
Nothing you've already saved is touched or deleted. You'll be told which cap you've reached — properties, photos, or Yard Assistant credits — and you can upgrade, or carry on within the plan you have.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your history stays, and so do your settings — they're kept rather than discarded, so they resume if you upgrade again. Paid features stop accepting new configuration, though some keep working on what you've already set up: your zone watering config still drives the engine, and existing infrastructure map items stay viewable and editable on mobile.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, and you keep paid access through the end of the period you've already paid for. You can also delete your account whenever you like: your yard data is removed from our systems immediately, with a few documented exceptions — encrypted backups rotate out within 90 days, your payment processor keeps transaction records it's required to keep, and support conversations are removed on request.
What actually makes Plus worth it?
The day-to-day weather-aware alerts and timing tools. Free already gives you the personalized schedule plus frost warnings, the winterize and spring-startup alerts, and the pre-emergent window — the ones that protect pipes and catch a freeze. The paid tiers add the daily ones: when to water, when to skip because rain is coming, and when a spray window is safe; calendar sync puts the plan in the calendar you already read; sprinkler calibration and growing-degree-day (GDD) tracking tune the schedule to how your yard really behaves.
